Apply to upgrade an existing power supply
If you need to increase your existing supply (for example, to expand your business, add new appliances or workshop equipment) you can request a supply upgrade using the form below.As part of the application process, you’ll need to provide the existing meter number.
Electricity connections can be varied and complex. We recommend that a professional electrical consultant or contractor completes this application on the customer's behalf. You’ll also need permission from your strata company, if applicable.

Apply for a CT meter
CT (Current Transformer) meters are installed on any connections with a load greater than 100 amps. A CT meter only measures a fraction of the current passing through the connection and a multiplier is applied to this reading to reflect the actual current.After you have submitted your application, please allow approximately:
- 30 business days to design and provide you with a formal quote
- 30 business days for you to sign the Quote Acceptance form and return it to us
- 12 weeks for work to commence following receipt of payment
